Confusion between (0,3) and (3,0)

Hi,

There are still some who are confused between coordinates that lie on the x and y axis. For e.g. (0,3) and (3,0).

The first thing you must know is the order in which a coordinate is written/read.

A coordinate is read/written as ( x-value, y-value ). For instance (1,3). The '1' is read from the x axis and '3' from the y axis.

In the case of (3,0), '3' is taken from the x-axis and '0' from the y-axis. Since it is a '0' on the y, we simply mark the coordinate (3,0) on the '3' at the x-axis.
