Two Steps Equation Song

Hey,

something to freshen you guys and gals up. Hope you are having fun learning in school....

Before you watch this video, let's summarise how we are going to solve equation like
3x + 4 = 15.

The steps go like this:

Step 1: Isolate the variable by making the 4 on the LHS of the equal disappear.

Step 2: To make the '4' disappear, subtract 4 on the L.H.S. To make the equation balance, you need to subtract 4 on the R.H.S too.

I have ---> 3x + 4 - 4 = 15 - 4

3x = 11

Step 3: To have the value of the unknown, x , simply divide 3 on both sides of the equation.

And you get 3x/3 = 11/3

x = 3 2/3
